Did someone say Award Winning Programs for kids of all ages?

Marlboro Jewish Center is extremely proud of our Youth Programs that encompass grades Kindergarten through12th grade.  Youth groups are designed to provide participants with a Jewish social program.  Our programs consist of Katan (K-2nd grades), PreKadima (3rd-5th grades), Kadima (6th-8th grades), and USY (grades 9th-12th).  Our programs have all been recognized for excellence within the United Synagogue Community.  Members receive monthly mailings and emails to keep them connected.  Lori Solomon is the Youth Director, she can be reached at 732-536-2303, ext 124 or lsolomon@mjcnj.com and the Youth Hotline is 732-536-2303, ext 302 and is updated weekly.

Katan—Kindergarten- 2nd grade is led by Nada Schmelzer.  This program meets once a month on a Sunday.  There are arts & crafts projects relating to an upcoming Jewish holiday and some kind of hands on cooking project.

PreKadima—3rd – 5th grades is led by Eric Silverman.  This program meets once a month on a Monday night.  It is an opportunity for the children to start interacting in a Jewish social program.  There are arts &crafts, sports, games and fun.

Kadima—6th-8th grades is led by Eric Silverman.  This program is part of the Hagalil region of United Synagogue Youth.  This program meets twice a month on a Monday night.  The programs include game night, trivia, movies, sports and a lot of fun events.

Kadimaniks also may participant in regional events such as Shabbatons, fun days, dances and encampment.

Marlboro USY fondly known as MUSY—grades 9th – 12th is led by Aliza Gases.  This program is one of the biggest chapters within the Hagalil region of United Synagogue Youth.  MUSY meets every Thursday night.   This group is self-governing with its own executive board which is elected by its members.  Events include holiday celebrations, fundraising for Tikun Olam, educational and social events.  For more information on national USY, click here
